Dundee Independent Advocacy Support

Make a referral

Anyone can ask us for an advocate: for themselves, for someone they care for, or on behalf of an agency.

How referrals work

We have an open referral system. You can ask for an advocate for yourself, a carer or named contact can ask for you, or an agency can contact us on your behalf, as long as you have freely given your permission first.

When a referral is made we will need some background information about the advocacy issue and the person, so we can give the right support. It also helps the advocate and the person they support get off to a good start. Again, the person should have agreed to this information being shared.

Three ways to refer

Not sure whether advocacy is right for you? Read about the types of advocacy or give us a call.

Referral form

Who is making this referral? *
If you would rather we phoned you back.
Leave this blank if the referral is for you.
A short description is enough. We will ask for anything else we need when we get in touch.

We use what you send only to reply to you. See our privacy notice. If you would rather talk, call 01382 205515.
